DESCRIPTION- Hello, This auction is forthe KING of LENSES... the Rodenstock 1800mm f/16 Apo Ronar. I know of no other non-telephoto lens this long. It truely is the ULTIMATE piece of beautifully coated glass. It comes with mounting flange and front cap. The have seen one other lens like this and it was advertised for $15,000. Heaven knows what it cost new but I'm guessing around $40,000 in today's dollars. Face it, if you want one of these this is really your only chance. This lens is only for the very few photographers that are shooting big and have exacting requirements. For that matter, this lens is only for photographers with deep pockets. I wouldn't mind keeping this lens so I'm asking some real money for it. CONDITION- The glass is nearly perfect. I say nearly just because it has been used once or twice. It may have never been cleaned. The barrel is nearly new with only a few marks. It is really quite spectacular. PAYMENT- Cash on pickup, wire transfer, or fast check or money order.
